The woman hails from the second colony of the moon colony and her first destination is New York City. Olive is a book author who has visited planet earth to market her book. The situation reflects the climax of the story where, after a century, a detective discovers a banished mad person in the same forest Edwin heard guitar voices. The voices of a guitar signify the hallucinations suffered by Edwin due to distress.Įdwin seems to have lost touch with reality indicating that he is mad. During his stay in the forest he catches a glimpse of a rare sound of a guitar being played near an unspecified place. Edwin is sent away but changes his mind and hides in the deep forest.

Andrew is disowned by the members of his community due to his unbecoming behavior. The fascinating story in the book centers on the characters whose lives intersect despite living at different times.
